Summer Sounds takes place each year over 2 weeks in August. It offers a vibrant and engaging 5-day course for young string players of all levels.

Designed to be both inspiring and enjoyable, the course combines high-quality tuition with creativity, collaboration and performance.

Each 5-day course runs from 9.30am – 4.30pm daily, and culminates in a public concert at 4.30pm on the final day, with donations raised for Bolton Hospice.

The cost of the course is £160 per student.
To secure your place on the course, a deposit payment of £60, and the balance payment of £100 is due by 31st July ’26
